I saw Fightstar at reading festival in 2005 , they got bottled off but they handled it with class and came back the next year on the main stage

Good to see oul Charlie Simpson riffing out on a Kramer and MESA - but, alas, he's clearly been briefed/paid to drop in the phrase about MESA being a 'lifestyle brand' - this is Gibson's big idea at the moment - have people buying Gibson/MESA t-shirts, footballs etc, as no-one can afford their riduclously priced guitars/amps anymone and they can't be bothed designing new stuff that can compete with good, affordable gear.

I remember seeing them this night, this at the famous Catalyst in Santa Cruz CA. They opened for Animals As Leaders - The Contortionist, it was an experience seeing them live. The detail in their playing is flawless.

The reverb sounds great on this. The master is on TEN ?! Wow.......does that enhance the reverb by any chance ?

Ahhhh back in the days where Mesa Boogie could do lovely product demos with single coil F*nder-like guitars, without being aggressively hampered by cross integration and brand synergy with Gibson

I feel this is the amp I need. Maybe a boost pedal for solos. Channel one for slight dirt (country songs) and channel two with a classic rock gain

holy moly, mine arrived two weeks ago... i think there is not really something that can compete to this sound.. anyway.. my head is blowing away... was the last 10 years digital only .. the difference feels like day and night - the sustain and the raw power , the clean tone is brilliant

So i caught johnny in Dallas for my 1st time about 16 yrs ago at the guitar summer show. And his tone was unreal and super loud, unfortunately he kept blowing the tube amps. Lol, God bless one and all.
